BASIC DESCRIPTION
* Responsible for the creation of software packages
using BMC Configuration Manager tool (formerly called
Marimba)
* Create basic,and complex Marimba file packages including:
custom scripted, Java-based, Shrinkwrap, Windows Installer
MSI packages.
* Responsible for clear documentation on how packages
are being created and published.
* Responsible for working with the Application Certification
team member to ensure that software packages are certified
by application owners.
* Troubleshooting the software package problems.
* Responsible for coordinating with The client company
business unit's application owners in the development
and troubleshooting of software packages.
QUALIFICATIONSmmary

Skills - Functional/Technical:
* 3 - 5 years of experience in the desktop/PC environment
* Visual Basic
* VB Script
* JAVA Programming
* Good Verbal and Written Communication Skills
* Experience in Visual Basic, VB script and Java programming
skills
* General Windows's familiarity assumed (using the
Explorer, running the DOS prompt, executing basic DOS
commands).
* Knowledge of SSL and SSL, code-signing, and client
certificates and what they're used for.
* Understanding of common Windows installation issues
such as locked files, .dll's, shared files, registry
settings, and environment settings.
* Familiarity with creating batch files.
* Familiarity monitoring CPU, RAM, and network bandwidth
* Knowledge about Active Directory Service and what
an LDAP server is
* Experience working in a standard computing environment
* Marimba Desktop/ Mobile Management Product Family
