Experience:
* At least two years experience working on a Help Desk
and with Microsoft Office required.
Skills:
* Ability to learn new technology and assist others
with using technology.
* Possess exceptional communication skills with demonstrated
ability to build rapport and work effectively with individuals
of various computer skill levels and diverse job functions.
* Ability to work effectively with others under short
deadlines in high-pressure situations.
* Possess exceptional customer service and phone skills.
* Ability to exercise independent judgment within broad
parameters as determined by the User Services Manager
and Director of IT.
* Ability to resolve issues logically and quickly.
BASIC DESCRIPTION
The primary responsibility of this position is to support
all client's personnel by answering calls to the Solutions
Center and providing troubleshooting support and "how-to"
knowledge on Firm technology.
* Provide first-level support for calls received at
the Solutions Center.
* Be adept with all features of the firm's ticket-tracking
system.
* Assist IT team in communicating broadcast messages
as necessary.
* Stay current on technology and customer service techniques
by utilizing in-house resources such as training and
documentation, participating in local networking events,
regional conferences, etc. as available.
* Prepares written drafts of topics for knowledge base
content and troubleshooting content for problem management
tools.
* Prepares end user tutorials for various features
of front office technology.
* Research new technologies and participate in testing,
pilot and rollout project teams as required.
* Participate in meetings as required.
* Support the needs of the User Services team as necessary.
* Participate in Office Support Rotation schedule.
