* Manufacturing or Distribution experience
* 7 years experience in IS field
* 3 years IS management experience
* JD Edwards Enterprise One Version 8.0
* 3-5 years experience with developing applications
(I-Series / AS400 platform env.)
* Cobol
* RPG
* Kronos Timekeeping Systems Preferred but not required
* Covus (FormScape) or other form printing solutions
for JDE
* DSI (DC Link) or other data collection software for
JDE
* BS in computer science or equivelent
* MS in com puter science preferred
BASIC DESCRIPTION
* Liaison role with functional areas
* Provide leadership and input for day-to-day projects
* Develops or approves decisions related to IS applications
personnel matters
* Develops requirements
* Assume an active technical role in special projects
* Conceptualize solutions to problems
* Interact with Sales & Account Departments
* Light development (developing system applications
using I-series (AS400)
* Manage & establish team structures and operating
procedures.
* Mentor dvelopment staff
* Offer technical leadership
* Promotion code changes for production approval source
* Develop staff training plans
