Summary: Plan, direct, or coordinate activities in such fields as electronic data processing, information systems, systems analysis, & computer programming. The technical skills include using computer technology to meet the needs of the organization. Education/Experience o Bachelor degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required. MBA or other related advanced degree preferred. o 5-7 yrs experience required Responsibility level o Exercises independent judgment with minimal direction from supervisor Skills o Verbal & written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail & interpersonal skills (Required) o Ability to work independently & manage one’s time (Required) o Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, electronic equipment & computer hardware & software (Required) o Knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs & other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture & distribution of goods (Required) o Knowledge of business & management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, & production methods

 

SKILLS REQUIRED:

Job Title: Drafting positions

LOCATION: Often needed in Fridley, MN & Stoughton, WI

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Has a strong fundamental understanding of industry practices and responsibilities assigned to him/her. Acts as a team lead and/or mentor to entry-level candidates. This position requires the following job duties: provides product drafting service for line of business; assists in defining and developing drafting policies, practices; provides leadership to the drafting team of drafting advisors; implements and improves the target date process working with both customers and the specs. team; provides drafting guidance and trainings; provides technical guidance on drawing quality. This position works with large measure of autonomy, with supervision and/or guidance relating primarily to overall objectives, critical issues, new concepts, and policy matters.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

* Strong fundamental understanding in the design of mechanical systems

* Knowledge of Excel and ProEngineer

* Interface with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain

* Complete 3D modeling and print detailing in ProEngineer

* Work with internal and external design resources to complete project(s) on time

* Reviewing models and prints

* Create design guidelines and take ownership of product line commodities

* Manage daily work to ensure program deadlines are met with minimal supervision

* General knowledge of design requirements and manufacturing processes in specific mechanical, electrical, and/or electronic areas

 

Job Title: Graphic Designers

LOCATION: Often needed in Fridley, MN & Stoughton, WI

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Position requires minimal supervision, is relatively autonomous in all aspects of assigned work and supervises lower level staff acting as a team lead or checking others' work. The main function of a graphic designer is to create designs, concepts and sample layouts based on design principles and concepts. This position requires the following job duties: develops, implements and enforces graphic design processes; manages and coordinates projects to ensure timely completion; develops and implements tools and branded templates to increase local efficiencies; serves as a primary brand expert; manages and provides coaching to graphic design specialists. This position works with large measure of autonomy, with supervision and/or guidance relating primarily to overall objectives, critical issues, new concepts, and policy matters.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

* Knowledge of Excel and ProEngineer

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

* Work ethic that includes urgency, results orientation and strong results orientation.

* Complete 3D modeling and print detailing in ProEngineer

* Reviewing models and prints
