BASIC DESCRIPTION
* Minimum 9 month contract
the field support analyst will be located in our Woodlawn,
MD 21244 (Baltimore) Office and will need to able to
travel from site to site Baltimore and Washington DC,
(approx 1 hour distance) based on user needs. Flexibility
and resourcefulness are critical success factors for
this position.

and planning skills required.
KEY
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Provides technical
assistance to customers
*
Installs a wide variety of computer hardware equipment.
* Identifies when software licensing needs to be obtained
and installs software of moderate complexity.
* Recommends standard software that will meet customer
needs and assists the Software Deployment team in troubleshooting
instances when packages cannot be deployed as part of
large scale software deliveries.
* Provides remote-hands work for other IT groups or
outsourcers. Troubleshoots and repairs computer software
problems of moderate complexity which may involve a
removal/reinstall of the application or system registry/file
changes to fix the incident using more advanced diagnostic
tools.
* Participates in single and large scale moves.
* Performs Tech Refresh installations and end user acceptance
testing. Participates in other lights-on projects where
technical resources are needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Requires Associate degree or Technical
School certification; 3-4 years experience with PC and
operating systems, Dell hardware certification and Microsoft
A+ and Network+ certifications required; or any combination
of education and experience, which would provide an
equivalent background. Incumbent is also expected to
maintain A+ and MCP certifications.
